Time flies pretty fast. Last year around this time, I was preparing myself my Justea Battle of The Bands Audition.
And now, I'm preparing myself for the greatest challenge in my life by far.
I can finally throw all my Pengajian Am books away because I don't need them anymore. =)
Pengajian Am was the subject that I'm not good at. Well, I just hope that my luck won't fail me this time in obtaining a distinction in it. =)
Physics Paper 1 was somehow easy compared to the past years ranging from 1987-2001.
Chemistry Paper 1 (Objective) was the killer and everyone was practically complaining about it after the paper.
Mathematics T (T stands for Tulen *Pure*) Paper 1 was hard this year in my opinion. Luckily, I managed to finish on time.
I just hope that the following week will not be as tiring as this. =)
And before I go, here's a picture to share with you guys. Took it before the exams.
His name is Chen Hsieng *hopefully I spelled correctly*. He's the maths genius in my class. Super Duper hard-working. You would see him holding workbooks full of questions to consult the subject teachers few weeks prior the exams. =S siaoness.
First of all, I would like to thank all of your for being so supportive and also your best wishes. As you can see, STPM has started today and I will be quite busy for the following one and a half weeks. Hence, I might not be able to update so often. My apologies.
Coming this one and a half weeks, I might blog about my exam progress but most of the time I won't be blogging at all. Anyways, today's paper was PA 1- abbreviation for Pengajian Am Paper 1. Something similar to general studies which I'm not good at. Luckily, it was all objectives in which I can switch on burst-fire mode in my short-machine gun. Tomorrow would be Physics and PA 2.
And to all my STPM comrades, here's my best wishes for you guys. I know it's kinda late but well, we still have like 7 more papers to go!
All the best and good luck! May all of you pass with flying colours!!!
I was shocked when the Poslaju man was shouting my name in the morning.
To my realisation, I have received a parcel from shashinki.com.
The Package
What is shashinki? Shashinki is an online-photography-related store. You can purchase photography equipments from cameras to lenses and even memory cards.
How fast will I receive my order? Depends on the availability of the item you purchase. If the item is in stock, it will only take 1-2 business day(s) *Malaysia* to reach your doorstep.
What would you do if you have two 50 cent coins with you?
For me, I would go and exchange for a bottle of German beer at the Octoberfest held in One Utama.
Octoberfest 07'
Two weeks ago, my friends and I went to Octoberfest hosted by One Utama Shopping Complex. It was the third annual Octoberfest and as usual, you get to enjoy German folk music, sausages and last but not least, beers!
The Baazar
During Octoberfest, you get to exchange a bottle of smooth brewed German beer with not twenty but two 50 cent coins. But here's the catch, limited to only 1000 bottles each day in the three-day duration.
RM1!
As typical Malaysians, we went there uber early (4.00pm) even though the event started at 5.00pm. At 4.15pm, the crowd was building up and a security guard had to be there to ensure everything is in order.
Tight Security
They even set up barricades to ensure everyone is in queue to redeem their beers.
The not-walking Red Label
At 4.30pm, the management decided to let us in to queue in the assigned area.
The Building Crowd
Even though you have two 50 cent coins, you need to hold on to one of these tickets issued to redeem your beer.
The Ticket
Or else, you have got to wait for the next day or in my case, next year. =)
Short Talk: I attended Rames' Deepavali Open House today. OMG, the food was awesome!! Thanks Rames for the invitation! =)
Last Saturday, I followed my sister and mom to OUG for lunch.
The sister brought us to a coffee shop near the big four-face buddha temple house in OUG. *Sorry for the lack of details. I'm not too good with the area.*
According to her, the shop sells orgasmic crispy roast pork.
Without hesitation, I ordered this:
Crispy Pork
Verdict? The roast pork is slightly crispier than others. But, the slices of roast pork were so thin that for a moment I thought I ordered potato chips. The pricing was normal.
Only one picture to share because I didn't take much. =P
STPM is starting in less than 2 weeks. 19th of November to be precise.
Am I ready for it? The answer is NO.
It kinda sucks that time flies when you're in the midst of enjoying your life. But on the other hand, it is on a dreadful crawl when it comes to exams.
I can't wait for the 3rd of December to arrive!
Anyways, I won't be blogging often because I have to really buck up and prepare myself for war the greatest challenge of my life by far.
Have you watched the film - An Inconvenient Truth hosted by Al Gore?
Take a look at the trailer below and you will know what the film is all about.
It is a documented film on Global Warming. Global Warming has become one of the global crisis nowadays. The earth's temperature has been rising non-stop since the past decades.
The reason why I am posting this is because I am touched by the film.
Imagine a future where the north and south poles are gone, the extreme rise in sea-level and even room temperatures exceeding 30 degrees centigrade.
The future will be a horrible scene if we do not stop global warming. It is up to us now to stop global warming!!
Located on the left side of this blog is a pledge widget. Please pledge with me to stop Global Warming. Thank you. =)
Alright, my apologies for posting so late because I am really really busy lately. STPM is starting soon and I should really mug like mad.
Anyways, on the 29th of September October, we celebrated Ziyan's birthday at Fasta Pasta in IKANO Power Centre.
From L->R: Zhan Sheng, Jia Yi, Rosanne, Justin, Peng Gee, Ziyan and Me
To be honest, we *rosanne and I* actually mixed up Ziyan's birth date. Both of us thought that his birthday falls on the 29th of September instead of October. Hence, we called up everyone and planned to give him a surprise party. To our realization, it was too late to cancel the plan. So, we carried on the surprise party as planned.
After a month, I have totally forgotten the food we ordered that day. =S Therefore, I'll just post the pictures of the pastas we ordered. XD
Then, I asked Zhan Sheng to smile for me. Instead, he gave me his horny smile. :s
All of us laughed when we saw the photo.
Ziyan was very surprised and in awe when he saw the cake coming accompanied by a "Birthday Song" sang by the waiters.
